The Honest Kitchen's line of five healthy, delicious dog food recipes offers something for even the most discerning palate. Each of these diets is carefully blended to encompass a broad array of amino acids, phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals and enzymes to help achieve and maintain optimum health. None of the recipes contain by-products, added salt or sugar, chemical preservatives, artificial colors or flavors and NO beet pulp, rice, wheat, corn, or soy. These are common allergens for dogs and can cause dry, itchy skin, hair loss or dullness, lack of energy, chronic ear problems and chewing at the feet.
Choose from among the five recipes below. All formulas are sold in 4 lb. resealable bags, which make up to 16 lbs. of food.

n. Great Enthusiasm or Liveliness, Energy, Vivacity, Zeal.
The diet that started it all, the original dehydrated raw dog food. Verve is the Honest Kitchen's beef-based diet made with organic grains. This diet is an excellent option for those who want a more wholesome and less processed meal for their pets. Verve is 100% human grade dog food.
Ingredients: Organic rye, organic barley, hormone-free beef, organic flaxseed, organic oats, carrots,alfalfa, potatoes, eggs, red and green bell peppers, spinach, apples, cranberries, chicory, parsley, peppermint and rosemary.
Life Stage: Adult maintenance; senior dogs; moderate to lower activity levels.

Force is the Honest Kitchen's original grain-free dog food that was designed to cater to those dogs with sensitive stomachs and chronic ailments related to the consumption of glutinous grains. Force, like all of their diets, is a wheat- and gluten-free dog food.
Ingredients: Hormone-free chicken, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, sweet potatoes, apples, alfalfa, organic kelp, honey, zucchini, green beans, cabbage, bananas, papayas, yogurt, basil, garlic and rosemary.
Life Stage: Adult maintenance; sensitive dogs; moderate activity levels.

Embark is the Honest Kitchen's grain free, low carbohydrate dog food. This diet was designed to cater to dogs of all life stages including puppies, pregnant and nursing dogs and those who seek grain-free dog food and organic puppy food.
Ingredients: Hormone-free USDA turkey, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, spinach, carrots, coconut, apples, organic kelp, eggs, sesame seeds, bananas, cranberries and rosemary.
Life Stage: All life stages; puppies, pregnancy, lactation, active adult dogs. Low-carb: 35%.

The easiest way to make homemade dog food, Preference, is a grain-free dog food to which meat must be added with every feeding. Thrive is a very minimalist, nourishing diet which is also recommended for dogs with sensitivities: It contains NO fruits, potatoes or flax.
Ingredients: Hormone-free Chicken, Organic Quinoa, Sweet Potatoes, Spinach, Parsley, Organic Kelp, Rosemary, Vitamins and Minerals
